Dear Parents,
Welcome to the Tustin High School MUN Program. This is a exciting program for your sons and daughters. We encourage every student to take advantage of these various levels of involvement and pick the level that is best for them. In this program they will develop skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
Please join the THS MUN Booster ClubAll parents are also encouraged to attend the monthly MUN Booster Club Meeting. They are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in Room #810. At these meetings, we discuss the general operations of the MUN program, fundraisers, upcoming needs, and answer questions. The Advisors report on conference results and provide information about upcoming conferences. This is the best way to stay connected.
Parent Volunteers
Parental support is essential to the success of the THS MUN program. Parents are requested to volunteer at least 2 hours each semester at one or more field trips to local conferences and at least 2 hours at our own THS MUN Conference. The THS MUN Conference is the program's MAJOR FUNDRAISER and requires MANY hands to make it a success. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 19-20, 2011. On your registration form please indicate the times that you are available to volunteer. All students are required to attend the THS MUN Conference. Freshman attend Saturday only. Sophomores, Juniors and Senior attend both Saturday and Sunday.
FundraisersThe MUN Booster Club sponsors several fundraisers throughout the year. Some of these fundraisers are for individual students to raise funds associated with his/her attendance at conference field trips, and some fundraisers are general fundraisers for the benefit of the MUN Program as a whole. All MUN students are required to participate in the general fundraisers.
